Politics from the world of modelling...

I came across this article.. it made me laugh a little . (Please understand... I was at work, there was complete lack of entertainment, it was the end of the day and I was tired... it doesn't take much for me to laugh under these circumstances)

Elle Macpherson is getting all offended that Heidi Klum has claimed the title "The Body".

As per Elle's spokewomen, when they came across the autrocity, "We saw that and were like, 'Oh my god!'..... In terms of public record, that name belongs to Elle."

The fact that they are getting all huffy puffy over the little nickname amuses me.

Reading at work...

As many of you may know I have been experiencing a long dry spell of idleness at work... not to any fault of my own (I do wish I was swamped with work...sometimes). During my daily web surfing in search of things to entertain myself I came across this article. I read it and almost cried. Had to contain myself as I was at work. Anyway for those who are interested here is the address...

I can't believe Australia won!!

I must admit I was not a firm believer in the Aussie team. I thought that they would lose against Japan but then they went a scored 3 goals in the last 8 minutes!! Crazy!

My world cup dilemma this year is... I normally go for Brazil have ever since I was young, (and I think that the reason for that is because all the Thai people around me went for them, however I did go for both Brazil and Paraguay last World Cup) but I really wouldn’t mind seeing one of the “under dogs” winning. For example, Trinidad & Tobago. They were so ecstatic when they drew against Sweden. It was so cute. It isn’t just winning the World cup that is important to these teams but playing in every single game is an achievement to them already.

PS. Did anyone see the article in STM (Sunday Times Magazine) this past Sunday on Tim Cahill (Australia’s current hero, scoring 2 of the 3 goals!!)? His Son is one of the cutest kids I have ever seen.
